Tourist to cannasseur, imbibing or not, you want to go on a weed tour of Mendocino farms

We’ve been San Francisco Bay Area tour guides for decades.  We’ve taken people on San Francisco sightseeing tours, Muir Woods tours, wine country tours – basically all the tours SF has to offer.  We can tell you everything you want to know about The Golden Gate Bridge, the gold rush, the 1906 earthquake, and anything you want to do in San Francisco.

Two years ago we began doing weed tours, and by far it’s been the most rewarding experience we’ve ever had, and I can tell you if there’s one place you choose to visit once you’re able to travel again, Mendocino County in California’s famed Emerald Triangle is the place.  Here are 5 reasons why.

Mendocino County is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Cannasseurs imbibing and taking in the incredible beauty on our weed tour

Maybe you’ve traveled to San Francisco before.  Maybe you’ve even ventured north to the beauty of Marin County or wine country.  As beautiful as those places are, they just don’t hold a candle to the incredible beauty of Mendocino County.  As majestic as the giant redwoods are in Muir Woods, seeing them up close in their natural state and actually being able to touch them gives you a much more visceral experience.  As beautiful as the vineyards of Napa and Sonoma are, the vineyards of Mendocino County are even more beautiful offset on a background of scenic rolling hills and wild coastal giant redwoods.

Awesome people.

From the Mendocino Farms to the dispensaries, the people of Mendocino are warm and inviting – must be all the imbibing

The beauty of a place isn’t just limited to picturesque scenery.  The people you meet when you’re there create the overall experience, and leave you feeling the beauty of the place as well as seeing it.  The people of Mendocino county are so mellow, warm, and easy going, and they make everyone feel so very welcome – from weed farmers on the Mendocino farms to waiters & waitresses to dispensary workers, they show you a whole new level of beauty in Mendocino.

Award winning wineries.

People taking wine tours from San Francisco don’t know that besides Mendocino farms, award winning Mendocino wineries are wonderful to visit on a 420 tour or on their own

You may have taken wine tours from San Francisco, and visited the wineries of Sonoma, Napa, and the Carneros region at the north end of the San Francisco Bay, (called the Richardson Bay in wine country), but did you know Mendocino County, which borders Sonoma County on the north, has amazing award winning wineries as well?

Remember the excitement of exploring new wineries in Sonoma & Napa?  Have you fallen into a rut?  Are you visiting the same wineries every time you visit San Francisco?  Get back in touch with the excitement of exploring new wineries again.  There are amazing, award winning wineries in Mendocino County to explore with wonderful tasting rooms in phenomenally beautiful settings.

On a weed tour enjoy imbibing and visiting Mendocino farms – some of the best pot farms in California’s famed Emerald Triangle – the ultimate cannasseur experience

If you’re at all curious about cannabis culture or the back to the land movement, or if you’re just interested in imbibing the best weed in the world, The Emerald Triangle, (made up of Humboldt County, Trinity County, and Mendocino County) is the place you absolutely need to have on your bucket list.   For generations, families on Mendocino farms have been perfecting the art of growing cannabis, and passing this knowledge down from generation to generation, and they are so generous in sharing that information.  We’ve had cannasseurs and weed farmers from all over the world come on our weed tours to learn from these folks.  The brain trust of the region is easily as important as the terroir.
